Jarod Herron focuses on aligning insurance solutions with client goals, as well as leverages skills in communication, SEO, and email copywriting to generate leads and conversions.
During his first several months with SelectQuote, Mr. Herron also served as a Medicare insurance agent at United Healthcare Insurance. His responsibilities there included managing client accounts, identifying cross-selling opportunities, and facilitating smooth sales processes from inquiry to implementation. He previously led Protector Insurance as the CEO, where he streamlined business operations and built partnerships that supported company growth. Earlier in his career, he spent two years undertaking client service, data tracking, and market adaptation tasks at Bankers Life Insurance Company Of America as a sales manager.
Alongside his corporate experience, Jarod Herron has worked as a freelance copywriter since 2015. He produces content for clients across sectors, drawing on a foundation in nonfiction and creative writing. An alumnus Ohio State University, Mr. Herron holds insurance producers licenses in 22 states and has been invited to join Mensa International.
